Family Crests
by Celtic Virtue

Celtic Virtue family crests are truly extraordinary! The two masons have developed a new technique for carving the fine detail of a coat of arm on a relatively small plaque. A carved Irish herald on true Irish stone is the essence of tradition and symbolises one’s Celtic lineage in more ways than one.

The tradition of heraldry appears very early amongst the Celts, who, like other peoples, carried their clan colours and symbols in battle.

What distinguishes the Irish coats of arms is that they don’t necessarily derive their themes from the military but they are inspired by Celtic traditions and myths. Famous family crests include the Red Hand, the Oak Tree, the Stag etc.

Furthermore, the Irish coats of arms represent clans rather than individuals. Celtic Virtue carves the icon of one’s clan and heritage on pieces of true stone from the old land, creating a timeless and everlasting emblem.

Celtic Virtue coats of arms are hard and strong and come from the same grounds of the old Celtic kingdoms. They can be placed inside or outside and, like the Celts, they will not wear down.

The two masons, Finnian and Stuart, have received special training and have developed new engraving techniques. They patiently carve intricate family crests that look and feel unique.
